Getting Started with Staking

Step 1: Acquire $ZAO Tokens

  • To participate in staking, the first step is to acquire $ZAO tokens. You can purchase these tokens on supported cryptocurrency exchanges.

  • Ensure you have enough tokens not just for staking but also to cover any transaction fees associated with transferring $ZAO to the staking platform.

Step 2: Connect Your Wallet

  • Navigate to the official zkTAO staking platform and create an account by connecting your digital wallet.

Make sure your wallet supports $ZAO tokens and has been securely set up!

Step 3: Stake Your $ZAO Tokens

  • Once your wallet is connected, locate the option to stake your $ZAO tokens within the platform’s interface.

  • Enter the amount of $ZAO you wish to stake. Remember, the minimum requirement to qualify for an AI Validator ID is 210,000 $ZAO.

  • Confirm the transaction within your wallet. This will lock your $ZAO tokens in the staking contract.
